The NBC Mystery Movie was a TV series that ran from 1971-1977 and featured a collective of several hour long shows that rotated episodes on various nights under different titles based on the night.

Quincy was the only series to be extended in a regular series once the NBC Mystery Movie ended.  Columbo also made it out, but only via a series of TV movie specials

I voted for 'Quincy M.E.' followed by 'McMillan and Wife'

Season 3 of 'McMillan and Wife' just came on DVD.  I got my copy 8)

I guess Colombo was my favourite...followed closely by McMillan & Wife, McLoud and Quincy ME.

I'll be getting the McMillan & Wife series DVD set as well.

This is a very tough category.  I love Quincy MD.  My second choice would be McMillian & Wife, and third is McCloud.  But I also like Columbo but started watching them very much later.

Columbo is my favorite followed by Quincy.

That is so true.  Some them did have 1 plus longer special episodes. Some that are not mentions in Mystery shows are Cannon, Barneby Jones, Ironside.

I went with McMillian & Wife but also loved Columbo and Quincy.

I had to toss a coin between Banacek  & Hec Ramsey. Hec won it & got my vote.
