Hello,
This question may have been asked before but I am new here.
I'm curious to know if anybody knows the name of the sports competition on TV that had music rock stars.
Sort of like Battle of the Network Stars, I think.

Hmm, this might not be it (was more geared towards TV stars than rock stars, but there may have been a musician-themed episode of it), but how about Celebrity Challenge of the Sexes? (1977)

It sure sounded like it but going to the website you highlighted, didn't jog my memory of it or the stars listed.
I do remember that show though.
I can remember some young pop/rock singers in competition with each other.
Maybe it wasn't totally all rock singers, maybe celeb's mixed in.

Someone, somewhere, a few years from now may stumble upon this page while searching for celebrity sports shows of the late '70s, and will find that Rock and Roll Sports Classics aired around 1977 or 1978. Thanks for posting the solution, even if we couldn't help :)

If you googled it you would of seen many celebrities from the 70's.
They also have You Tube videos of the event.
Kinda neat.
