I've noticed this hairstyle, which is very long on top but pushed or slicked back, and closely clipped on the sides and back, was popular from the 30s-80s, and especially so with older guys during the 70s. I was wondering if there was a name for it, and it doesn't make a comeback--it's classy:

Not really a comb-over ala the donald. A comb-back? More like a "I just washed my hair and can't do a THING with it.." It's what I do, since trips to the salon in these uncertain financial times simply will not do...

looks like the old hairstyle from the fifties my uncle still wears it was callede the duck tail only difference the was a more of a poof ?? in front resembling a tail
