I LOVE Free to Be You & Me. I thought it was already on DVD. We rented it from NetFlix a long time ago. I remember the album. I didn't have it but my father's ex-girlfriend had it. I spent I don't know how many weeks with them one summer and played the sh!t out of that album.

I LOVE this song (yeah, I know the video sucks-ignore the lip-syncing chick and just listen to the music):

This was the best recording I could find on YouTube of William Wants a Doll. The sound really sucks. But I do love the song. I'm sure people will hear not only Marlo Thomas singing but also Alan Alda.

Why don't I remember this?  :D

Even after watching some of the clips still doesn't look familiar.  Weird.

I do know the song, Free to Be...it's even on a Target Commercial.

When I was in 6th grade we did a play loosley based on Free to Be and sang some of the songs from the original.  I had a solo part in "Glad to Have a Friend Like You."  This brings back so many memories!  I had chicken pox the week before, and missed most of the rehearsals, so I only knew my part of the song, and had to just stumble my way through the rest of the skit.  And I was still covered in red bumps for the performance.

I had chicken pox.  It was miserable.  I have repressed most of the memory.  That was about the same time as "Free To Be You."  Maybe that's why I don't remember it!

Funny, I don't remember this at all, and I was pretty up on current events as a kid, or so I thought. :)
