Waaay cool! Henson was a genius. The Muppet show is one of the only programs I can think of that people of all ages genuinely enjoyed. The funny thing is we had two puppets from Jim Henson's workshop. My grandmother bought them for my sister in the the mid-1960s when Henson was still an aspiring puppeteer. Those puppets had pretty much been through the mill a decade later. They were completely beaten up and forgotten, rotting in some closet. We had no idea they might be worth a lot of money int he future!

Jim was certainly a genius, but the man was also a great artist. I'm not sure if there's a word that describes a man who is both. Although VISIONARY seems to fit the bill. "Affectionate Anarchy", such a perfect title. Henson ranks high among my heroes, and will be forevermore.
