Subject: locating unknown toy from 70's
Written By: Gekko on 10/22/09 at 6:08 pm
I am trying to locate a toy from the 70’s-80’s
It was a silly string type toy. Packaging was shaped like a robot and it shoots a type of foam as used for shaving and turns into silly string.
Looking for any type of information and locating one.
Thank you.

Sounds like Crazy Foam

You'd squeeze out thick foam until it thinned out and shot string-like. I remember it from the 60's. I had so many of these as a kid! The Monkey (above photo) was my favorite character.

Thanks Grim Reaper.
Someone replied back with a link to a YouTube clip that mysteriously disappeared as well as the reply and user who posted it in the fourm.
I was correct on the product and there is another clip of the Robot crazy color foam soap for your interest as well as a smurf one.
I would add the screen shot I took from the clip but not certain how to include it. If you or anyone knows of where I may find one even an empty can please let me know.
There were many great packagings of bottled shampoo's and soaps from 60's-80's
