Subject: tv show about a blind detective or lawyer.....or something

My mom is looking for the name of a tv series (and the actor in it) and to my amazement I have no recollection based on the description she gave me.
Anyway- the lead is an actor who played a blind (detective, attorney.....or something). the actor may have been blonde.
if this rings a bell please let me know... thanks.

How about Longstreet. It was in the early 70's and was about a blind insurance investigator.

Loki beat me to it. It is Longstreet starring James Franciscus. (I also remember his seeing-eyed dog's name was Max).

apparently my mom thinks its one of the best tv series ever ;D I really don't think I've ever seen it.

I once mentioned it in a long buried thread called "Forgotten T.V. Shows" or something like that. I don't feel like searching for it.

8) I think that the most important thing about Longstreet, is that Bruce Lee was in the first couple of episodes. He was teaching Longstreet how to fight using martial arts and not let his blindness be a weakness.

I don't remember that. Of course the only thing that I really remember about the show was the name, who starred in it & the dog's name. :D ;D ;D ;D

"The show was called "Longstreet" that was the guys name. He was a private eye that lost his wife and sight in some violent way. I was in 5th grade when it came out so that was 1972.
