My faves are Swamp Music, Gimme Three Steps, Tuesday's Gone, and of course Freebird. Skynyrd were just one of the bands that defined the 70s as one of the greatest musical decades.

I'm no expert on the Skynyrd catalog, but I love Freebird.  Yesterday I had "What's Your Name" stuck in my head after hearing it on the radio.  I like "Gimme Three Steps" a lot, too.

I only really know one of of theirs' and you guess which one that is.

I remember when I first heard Freebird, it was like I had always known the song. It was awesome!

That Smell is a great song, ninny! You may not know this one, but "I Need You" is also a good track from Skynyrd.

I like all Skynyrd Songs.

Johnny Van Zant is the lead singer of the new Lynyrd Skynyrd.  His late brother Ronnie Van Zant was the original lead singer.  And on a similar musical note, their brother Donny Van Zant was/is the lead singer for .38 Special

Yeah, the three Van Zant's are all great singers, and Ronnie will be missed. You know, their drummer, Artemis Pyle, had his own band, though I've never heard any of their songs.

I can easily understand getting tired of Freebird. But you know what the funny thing is? The band thought that Freebird would never get any radio airplay. Now look at it!

I hear the 'bama song at least once a week on the radio and never fail to "turn it up".

I hear Sweet Home Alabama all the time and maybe that is why I cant really stand listening to it any more.  Call Me The Breeze and You Got that Right are on my CD, but since I never really knew the songs before My speech hearing loss, I cant enjoy them. 

All the songs I sing and enjoy and sing are memorized well enough to know what they sound like and when words are spoken if I didn't know what they were.
