Subject: Clue Club = total Scooby Doo copycat??

I have been watching old cartoons on Boomerang lately..and I started watching one called, The Clue Club. I swear it is almost exactly like Scooby-Doo. They are teenagers solving mysteries, with the aid of dogs...all backed up the groovy background music...some of the character voices even sounded quite similiar! :o It was an ok show, but I will always prefer Scooby Doo. I guess the Clue Club didn't last too long.

There's also a kid that looks like the Wendy's girl. :o
Added: there's tons of Scooby knockoffs in the 1970's like "Goober & The Ghost Chasers", "Fang Face", etc.

And you are finally figuring this out? ;D There was also Speed Buggy, replacing the dog with a car, and jabberwocky, replacing the dog with a shark. But yes, none were nearly as popular as Scooby, which is good. I don't think I could sit through a Jabberwocky Live Action movie.

But these dogs are more articulate. And.... The kids aren't high. ;D

I had not really ever seen an episode of the Clue Club until recently. As soon as I watched it..I was like, "Did I just watch Scooby Doo?" :D

From all the "Scooby" clones, I only prefer "Josie & The Pussycats"...
