I was watching "Rock the Casbah" this morning on Vh1Classic, then I heard on the radio he passed away on this date six years ago due to a undiagnosed heart condition. I just want to say Im still a huge 'Clash' fan though I was too young to attend their concerts in their heyday. I always wondered why he didnt have a stellar solo career when the Clash broke up. He did release a solo album but it tanked due to poor promotion and marketing. Anyway he will always be remembered in my heart Luv u Joe xoxoxo.

Saw the Clash in concert in '83. Awesome band, awesome show. We miss you, Joe... :\'(
