I am looking for a song from the 70's that had telephone of telphone operator in the lyrics...Any ideas?

A long shot, but possibly Sylvia's Mother by Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show

The song's called Young Lust, and the phone call takes place at the beginning.

Yeah, wasn't Dirty Woman the scene where the girls go off with the roadies and such? Trying to recall the scene from the movie... I guess it doesn't really matter as pertaining to this question...just curious.

Although it doesn't mention 'telephone' .. the song IS about using one ... and the 'operator' / 'phone' DOES get a mention ... so ... might even be 'Sylvia's Mother' by Dr. Hook (1972) ?

There's also a song (I don't know it) ... called 'Telephone Man' ... made it to No. 6 ... in the UK ... in 1977 ... by Meri Wilson.

"Operator" by Manhatten transfer in about 1975 or so.
Wasn't there a song called "Big time Operator" by Keith Hampshire (But I don't think it had to do with telephones)
