Hilarious House of Frightenstein was a Canadian production that became a cult classic!
Done in the 70s at CHCH-TV in Hamilton Ontario , Staring Billy Van who did the show live & changed costumes & make-up during the commercial breaks!
Growing up a friend of mine , His Mom had her cats on Dr Pet Vet & discribed the behind the scenes to us>
Billy Van was an amazing personallity!

I remember it well! My favorites were Grizelda the witch and the librarian. Oh, and Harvey Wallbanger!

it comes & goes on/off the air.....
The part of Julius Sumner Millar was more or less a "Inside Joke" as Canadian TV demanded a portion of the show be set aside for Educational purposes.....
So they got a physicist to fill the spot ;D
Back in the day in the early morning hours (when you were coming Down) This show was a must see!!!!
Billy Van met the Igor charactor when he stopped to help him fix his busted down VW on the side of the road!
Odd that CHCH TV in Hamilton refuses to air it!
