Sorry, sorry,sorry, I edited the poll and it wiped everyones vote out. I had originally had cols Blake and potter there but they disappeared. I did not know when I edited it it would erase all the votes :-[
So if you feel like voting again please do if not thats okay too.
I am sorta a newbie so this is my first poll. Please excuse or let me know if this one has been done before.
This is one of my all time favs. Let me know who is your favorite. It should spark some spirited discussion.

I picked Hawkeye too, he was always so witty and I liked how he picked on Frank Burns.

M*A*S*H was probably the best series EVER!!!! As for favorite character? I really can't pick one-I love them all. I just love Radar, Klinger, Father Mulchahy, Col. Potter, Sidney, as well as the rest of the inmates. We have the entire series on DVD (all 11 seasons). Can never get enough of any of them.

Loved the series....loved all the characters. I'll choose Hawkeye because he had the wittiest lines and delivered them soooo sarcastically... ;D

I used to love this series, and could empathize with each character which endeared it all the more to me.
I think I could understand Radar the best or perhaps Father Mulcahey. I have alot of elements of their character's personalities in me.

It was a tough choice but I voted for Klinger because I thought it was hysterical the way he dressed in women's clothes all the time and Jamie Farr was great in that role. :)

My three favorite Klinger "moments" or should I say outfits. Every time I see any of them, I just crack up. And I can't chose between the 3 of them as to which one I like the best.

It was a tough choice but I voted for Klinger because I thought it was hysterical the way he dressed in women's clothes all the time and Jamie Farr was great in that role. :)
Especially when he tried to escape on the helicopter wearing the pink fuzzy slippers ;D

I love love love the movie. I also was dedicated to the tv show. i feel like they are so different that you can't compare. the movie is irreverent and really for adults. the tv show was really watered down but still got the point across.

I agree the movie was grittier but the show was wittier.

I remember his final episode, when he gave Hot Lips a big juicy kiss. What a riot!! That show could make you laugh one minute and cry the next.

It was truly an outstanding show. Can't recall how many episodes make me cry-“Abyssinia, Henry” being the top contender, which is why I always hate watching that one, too sad. As I was in the tub last night, Hubby was watching the episode "Old Soldiers" (the one where Col. Potter was the last of his buddies from WWI). When I came into the bedroom, he was crying.

Apart from the obvious Hawkeye, I really liked Honeycutt. His sarcasm was great ;D
I liked Trapper John also as played by Wayne Rogers. I liked Pernell Roberts on "Trapper John, M.D.", but Wayne will always be the better Trapper
