Could you sing all the words when you heard it? I remember me and my friends trying to, but could never figure them all out. I was browsing youtube and found three videos of the song. 2 of them are home made with pictures added to the words and they're pretty good. The other one is a guy singing it.

The first time I heard this song was when McDonalds used a parody of it for a campaign in 1989. They had a contest where they passed out mini vinyl records and you had to play the whole song to see if you won. But even then it was hard to find an actual record player.

Man, this is a blast from the past. I actually sat down in the early 80s, and wrote down and memorized all that I could of the song. These days, I only remember the first verse, but when that song is played and people are around me, I love to freak them out by singing along at breakneck speed. Works great with drunk friends. (Even better with stoned ones) ;D

The song is great,my kids just shake their head when I try to sing it ;D
