Subject: looking to find a copy of 1970's NY area commercial
Written By: JerryI on 10/05/07 at 9:24 am
Can anyone tell me how I can get a copy (free preferably) of the below 1970 commercial?
Thanks
JerryI
JGE Appliances
There was a series of commercials for JGE Appliances. Jerry Goldstein would always be wearing a hard-hat and have construction workers around him. There would be an voice off camera always asking "Hey Jerry, what's the story?" and he would describe the various items and sales. Then after another "Hey Jerry..." he say that you could only get in with a union or civil service ID card. He would always end the spots by throwing his arms up in the air, so that his shirt would expose his belly and say "That's the Story"

OK, this isn't it... but judging from the comments on the video, this poster wasn't the only person looking for this.
