The original version of this comedy show, Steptoe And Son that came from the UK is superb.

Used to laugh my but off as a kid................
The "drop in" characters were great: Aunt Esther, Buba, Grady, Julio, the two cops, etc...............................

It was great! Watched it all the time.
It's hard for board an airplane (in coach) and not watch the first class curtain intently to see if some grizzled old man will walk through it from first class, shaking a greased baggie and announcing, "hey, any you folks back there want some fried chicken wings?" :o ::) ;D
