Remember Mimsie, the cat used in the title for MTM (aka Mary Tyler Moore) productions?

First seen in 1970 on "The Mary Tyler Moore" show, the cat was an answer to the MGM Lion. What I best remember is that in the 80s, the cat would differ, like at the end of St. Elsewhere, it would be dressed up in scrubs, or in Remington Steele, it was dresssed up as Sherlock Holmes, or at the end of Newhart, instead of the cat meowing, it was dubbed with Bob Newhart saying Meow ;D
MTM ceased in 1998 and was folded into 20th Century Fox

I do remember it being tacked onto the end of 'Rhoda'...
...I think that was about the most enjoyable part of the show!

I always loved that little kitten. I also like how they did it differently with the different shows. Very clever.

Funny, I always found that cat to be kind of soothing when I was a kid.

I found a clip of the passing of Mimsie the MTM Cat. In the final episode of St. Elsewhere, she is shown as a full grown cat hooked up to life support which flatlines

AHHHHHHH!!!! The V of Doom!!!! I hated that logo-anytime I knew that logo came on TV I ran to my room.
I thought the MTM cat was a real cutie. :)
