Subject: Classic Instructional Films

If you were in school in the 70s or 80s, you remember those glorious days where the teacher showed a film on one of those big ol projectors about health, science or manners instead of lecturing. I enjoyed these cheesy old films then and I have enjoyed them as an adult, when I could find them.
Well, I just found a big archive of em online! Yay! I am putting them here because most of them seem to have been produced in the 70s but I wont cry if a mod finds a better place for this thread. Enjoy!

you may or may not know that "the mighty wurlitzer" was a name for the CIA propaganda machine back in the days of instructional film in the 50s and 60s. jam handy was, i think, the big name in domestic propaganda but there were a lot of clever characters back in the day doing a lot of excellently crafted work in that particular area of expertise. it's funny how in the 70s when i was a kid we were watching a lot of that stuff on 16mm. the tradition survived quite a while. i have to be honest with you i love that sheesh.
the most brilliant ever 16mm propaganda film was frank capra's "our mr. sun." i love it desperately, i wrote a 15 page paper about it in grad school. it's a work of perfect beauty.
