A common mistake (and please don't take it the wrong way), but his name is, was and always will be Cliff Richard...no 's' on the end...

Unlike Keef Richard(s) from ye Strolling Bones...who is actually younger than Sir Cliff!

Who'd've thought it?  :o ;)

According to chart facts, Cliff Richard has had (at last count) 119 UK hits.  He didn't fare quite as well in the US, but he did reach the Billboard Charts 18 times ...

1959 - Living Doll (US #30)
1963 - Lucky Lips (US #62)
1963 - It's All in the Game (US #25)
1964 - I'm the Lonely One (US #92)
1968 - Congratulations (US #99)
1976 - Devil Woman (US #6)
1976 - I Can't Ask For Anymore Than You (US #80)
1977 - Don't Turn the Light Out (US #57)
1979 - We Don't Talk Anymore (US #7)
1980 - Carrie (US #34)
1980 - Dreamin' (US #10)
1980 - Suddenly <w/ Olivia Newton-John> (US #20)
1981 - A Little in Love (US #17)
1981 - Give A Little Bit More (US #41)
1981 - Wired For Sound (US #71)
1981 - Daddy's Home (US #23)
1982 - The Only Way Out (US #64)
1983 - Never Say Die (US #73)

I was thinking of doing a topic on Cliff Richard in my board, but researching the chart positions for Canada would not be easy as he had more hits here than in America.  One day, I may tackle the research though

Anyone familar with the song "I Still Believe in You"?  I love that song-but not one of his more known songs (which I don't know why-it is a beautiful song).

In the early 90s on One Life to Live, they used to play that song a lot. It was Max and Luna's song (if there are any OLTL fans out there).

But it turned out to be easier than I thought.  Here's all the hits he had in Canada ...

1959 - Living Doll
1962 - The Young Ones
1962 - Wonderful to Be Young
1962 - It'll Be Me
1963 - The Next Time / Bachelor Boy
1963 - Summer Holiday
1963 - Lucky Lips
1963 - It's All in the Game
1963 - Don't Talk to Him
1964 - A Matter of Moments
1964 - I'm the Lonely One
1964 - On the Beach
1964 - I Could Easily Fall (in Love With You)
1965 - The Twelfth of Never
1965 - Wind Me Up
1968 - Congratulations
1972 - Jesus
1976 - Devil Woman
1977 - Don't Turn the Light Out
1979 - We Don't Talk Anymore
1980 - Carrie
1980 - Dreaming
1980 - Suddenly <w/ Olivia Newton-John>
1981 - A Little in Love
1981 - Give A Little Bit More
1982 - Daddy's Home

NOTE: In 1999, 'The Millenium Prayer' was a hit in the singles sales chart, but I cannot find a peak position on that

I remember loving Wired for Sound.  Seems like I remember seeing him sing it on Solid Gold.

1980 - Suddenly <w/ Olivia Newton-John> (US #20)

That's the only two songs of his I can recall and say I like.

I remember "We Don't Talk Anymore" being very popular around Feb of 1980 though.
