Chairs very similar to some of those pictured can be bought from Ikea. We have some in our staff room at work

Maybe everything old is new again, but where were the uncool ones?
They may not be as practical as what's popular these days, but (apart from perhaps the orange and/or other earthones) wouldn't look that far out of place in any non-postapocapalyptic science fiction movie set today.

five years ago the 70s look wasn't as trendy as it is now.

Now I can see the context of Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen's Tatooine home in the first Star Wars movie, with its emphasis on snugness and round shapes.

I would love any of these little pod shaped rooms! I like dual levels in one living space.
