Subject: Your favorite disco divas

Gloria Gaynor or Donna Summer? That's usually the question. I love my Evelyn "Champagne" King. I also dig Thelma Houston.
Which are your two favorites?

They all kick great disco azz. However, I do have my faves - Donna Summer and Thelma Houston. My third pick would've been Evelyn!

Ahhhh!!
I was telling myself while making the poll..."don't forget Yvonne...don't forget Yvonne." and then I forgot.
She rocks.

France Joli wasn't a disco diva, in my opinion, despite having a great song.

Well, you asked who they were and instead of copying and pasting all that, I just gave the links. Don't see where the need for sarcasm comes in.

I really like them all, but I chose Donna Summer and "Other." The other choice would be Maxine Nightingale.

Had to go with Amii "Knock on Wood" Stewart and Donna "I Feel Love" Summer. Both tracks are approaching 30 years old and are still being remixed today.
Recommended remix: Knock on Wood '99 East Coast Radio Mix, from Amii's Unstoppable, and Donna Summer vs. Edwin Starr: I Feel Love's Contact Summer 2000 Mix, a nice mash-up done circa 2002.
