Tough choice but it's a toss up between Towering Inferno and Poseidon Adventure for me. They both had good soundtracks too ;)

Of the choices given, I would say Earthquake. I am not a big fan of disaster movies,
but my favorite disaster film was a, made for TV movie, The Day After (1983).

Good as it was, but for me The Towering Inferno was a bit to long.

Had to go Andromeda Strain there.
There are a few diseases out there, that I hope exist only as DNA sequences. The Andromeda Strain is worse than them. Unfortunately, the Andromeda Strain was fiction, and there's good reason to believe that some of these sequences were indeed assembled in laboratories on both sides of the Iron Curtain.
If something ever goes *BOOM* in the middle of nowhere for absolutely to explicable reason, and cannot be adequately explained as a meteor impact, you can be thankful that one of them didn't get out.

Earthquake with sensearound speakers
Watched it from the back row right in front of the speakers
...or from the back and see the audience jump, etc?

Any of the Airports. For some strange reason I really love airplane disaster flicks.

The Andromeda Strain, although the book is light years better.

It's a toss-up between 4:
-Towering Inferno
-Poseidon Adventure
-Airport
-La Toya Jackson's last video

Airport 1975 scared the crap out of me as a kid, but maybe it was cross eyed Karen Black... who knows. I did pick Towering Inferno cuz that would the worst.. I think.
