I chose Annie Hall and Sleeper (I'm a big fan of Woody Allen) and, of course, the brilliant Young Frankinstein.

I forgot about Blazing Saddles, but there's not an "other" option, so . . . . . darn ;)

some of em i made myself stop after one or two -- mel brooks i did high anxiety and young frankenstein, and leaving off blazing saddles was a difficult decision.

Makes sense. I know I've seen High Anxiety, but all I can really remember from it is Mel Brooks singing "High Anxiiiiiiety" . I'll have to go rent it.

Out of the two I preferred 'Sleeper' purely because it was just so stupid that the whole thing was set in the future yet this ragtime style music would continue in the background. ;D

Blazing Saddles is probably Mel Brook's best comedy (Young Frankinstein comes a close second).

Young Frankenstein (That's Franken-stein)
Everything you wanted to know about sex but was afraid to ask (my fave scene? the frigid chick turned nympho in public)
Love At First Bite
I love the Goodbye Girl. But I consider it more of a dramedy, than a full-fledged comedy.

Young Frankenstein, Love At First Bite and Oh God.

Monty Pyton and the Holy Grail
Young Frankenstein
Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex
But from the list, I prefer the Return Of The Pink Panther than Revenge.

As big of a Monty Python fan as I am, and as much as I love Cheech & Chong, there is one film that is dreadfully funny, and it's not on the list:
*M*A*S*H*
This wickedly hilarious film had an all-star cast.
Forget the series- Donald Sutherland, Elliot Gould, Tom Skerritt, Gary Burghoff, Sally Kellerman, Robert Duvall, John Schuck, Rene Auberjunois, and Jo Ann Pflug...the cast was stellar, and followed the book rather well.
I've read it, seen the movie, and the series...the film is the best!!!!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail ("We want a Shrubbery") One of my all-time favorites
Young Frankenstein
What's Up Doc? I think I'm the only one who chose that one. I do believe it was Madenline Khan's VERY first movie.

i caught the tail end (no pun intended) of "the pink panther strikes again" on cable yesterday.
"does your dog bite?"
"no sir."
clouseau bends to pet dog, who bites him.
"i thought you said your dog doesn't bite!"
"but sir, that is not my dog."
classic!
