I remember hearing the song in the late 70's on the rock/pop radio station during the hype of the Space Invaders arcade game. All I can pretty much remember is like a robot voice (or a real deep voice) saying "Spaaace Invaders", & then had missle sound effects like the arcade game. I thought the name of the song was Space Invaders but it might not be, & I know it's not the version by Hit & Hide. Please help! Thanks.

There was a discoish "Space Invaders" by "Player One" that featured samples from the original game.  Pretty good disco.  But the song wasn't *really* about the game.

But you were probably after Uncle Vic's "Space Invaders", from 1980.
