Summer girl
How did I ever live without you, girl?
It was the fourth of July,
When she caught my eye,
And smiled at me,
She was so fine...
Sunlight played on her hair,
I fell in love with her just standing there,
She would be mine...
Chorus:
Now she's my summer girl (summer girl)
My summer girl (summer girl)
How did I ever live without you, girl?
She's my summer girl (summer girl)
And she belongs to me...
It's been a year and a day,
But I'll always think of her that way,
My summer girl...
(LOL, and I just realized the first "video" really was someone pointing a camcorder at the speaker of an old hi-fi system!)

I remember 'Summer Girl' by Craig Ruhnke. He is from Canada, and it was his only Top 40 single, where it peaked at #33 in 1974.
