Subject: Make my band's set list for Saturday! 70s Covers-
Written By: KKay on 04/26/06 at 12:30 pm
The Kaytelles are playing Saturday- it's an audition set to be the regular house group.
Feel free to add comments about song order!
(It's an especially short set so it's going to be hard for us to choose.)
Here's a bunch. Choose 10. The 10 most popular will be played on Saturday.
I'll thank you all publicly!

Yeah, I know...but i have internet confirmation that it was 1980, technically putting it in the decade.

Subject: Re: Make my band's set list! 70s Covers- WE DONE GOOD!!!
Written By: KKay on 04/30/06 at 9:39 am
here's how it went.
When we arrived, NO ONE was in there but one family eating dinner....then friends came unexpectantly- with their family for dinner. Then my husband and his friend. Who told two friends...the Herbal Essences effect took hold- a great sign for any bar owner: the following.
So, we had a support group of about 20 and the old guys that hang out there regularly. We began and the regulars eyed us suspiciously..a couple sitting at the booth nearby remembering the words to 'Crazy Love"...
By the time the whole list was done, the old guys asked for more. We threw in Blue Bayou and Bad Blood and New Kid in Town. Everyone was happy. What made the owner even more happy? We were done at 10 but no one went home till 2...so (strokes hair on chin) a drinking following!
We got one Friday a month to begin, regularly, with pretty good pay and dinner and drinks. Then, if we keep it up, we'll get a weekly or bi-weekly booking.
Oh...and I thanked the inth00s members for voting on the list and told several people about the site! Maybe we'll get a few more 70s fans in the wake of it.
Thanks guys and be ready to vote next time..new songs added to the list and longer sets. That was fun!
