Subject: Help with a song please

I am trying to find out the name and artist of a song that popped into my head the other day. I am pretty sure that it is from the 70's. A guy singing. Kind of a rock song. The chorus says something like Bad (Bad) Love (Love) something something something (I think it says something on the run). It could be saying mad or luck. This is not Eric Clapton's song.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

There was a Barry White song, "Bad Love" with the title repeated in the chorus.
