Im sure its been covered here a million times but Im new so please be kind.
School House Rock began in what year? I was able to find a new release cd of modern bands doing the songs. Is there anywhere to get the originals?

Schoolhouse Rock first aired on ABC in 1970.I was at Best Buy and they
had the DVDs of all the original schoolhouse rock cartoons.

I work at a non-profit agency and the man that wrote all of the Schoolhouse Rock songs is married to a woman that volunteers for us. He plays a lot for some of the kids programs we do. Really, really nice guy. It's so cool to have met someone that I sang along with during my childhood.

I have a CD of some of the orginal songs-including favorites like "I'm Just a Bill", "Interjection", and "The Preamble". I really should get them on DVD. I'm sure I will enjoy watching them with my granddaughter.

I bought the DVDs a few years ago, and it wasn't for the kids either! ;) I love 'em!

Lolly Lolly get your adverbs here ..... that was my favorite when i was a kid and still is.
Found this out for you www.school-house-rock.com there they have a 30th anniversary DVD that you can buy check it out..
