I like the original version of "Rhinestone Cowboy" followed by the 2002 remake, then his Rita Coolige duet :)

That's the best one from this period, but his Jim Webb stuff ('Wichita Lineman', 'Galveston', 'By The Time I Get To Phoenix') is much, much better...

He and Bobbie do a nice job with "All I Have To Do Is Dream," so that gets my vote.

It's not actually the song - it's the sentimentality attached to it. It reminds me of an old boyfriend that I don't want to be reminded of!!

Again, this was a hell of a lineup, couldn't go wrong with any of them. My choice was one you never hear played on the radio - "Everything A Man Could Ever Need." I believe it was the theme song to the movie "Norwood," with Glen Campbell and Joe Namath in starring roles.

A great song. It got plenty of airplay back in 1970, but I've never heard it since...
Took me forever to find it on KaZaa. :)
