Subject: Things from the '70s that were cool/acceptable in the '80s?

Of course things like Disco, polyesther and bell bottoms were frowned upon in the '80s (certainly from like '82 up), but I don't think it's safe to say that EVERY single thing, every relic, fashion, song or movie from the '70s was hated in the '80s.
In fact, I think many things did in fact, carry over, even if in largely updated form (and even if no one would admit it!). ;)
Just on the musical side, many bands from the '70s had new and/or continued success in the '80s (Jackson Browne, ZZ Top, solo Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oates).

cars from the 70s(and earlier) were very cool to own in the 80s, not the gigantic plymouth furys and oldsmobile 88s but the muscles cars and sports cars :)

Feathered hair. I have a ton of pictures lying around with my aunt having massively feathered hair, and it was around 1985.
