Too many to choose from, I know. Not sure even I have one favorite, I like them all! But I would say 'Do Ya', 'Living Thing' and 'Rock n' Roll is King' is among my top picks.

I chose "Hold On Tight" That one always seems to get me going no matter what. I like another one from their 1979 album, but I can't remember the name of it. It's on the same album as "Don't Bring Me Down"

I voted for Evil Woman...it's the only song I've heard, does that make me unqualified to make an informed decision?? ;)

Of those listed, I had to pick "Confusion" from 1979, but really my favorite song by ELO is "Flash" from the movie "Flash Gordon."

Of those listed, I'll go with "Showdown" but really any ELO tunes is awesome.  Personal favorite may in fact be "Standin' In The Rain" from the "Out Of The Blue" set

I've been listening to Turn To Stone a lot, and I gotta say, it's surpassing Don't Bring Me Down on my Fave ELO Song list.

How about Jeff Lynne's 1984 solo hit "Video"?  Not nearly as great as ELO material, but it is quite catchy :)

I also voted Other, because "Fire On High" is not there.

BTW, none of the songs from "Xanadu" are really ELO songs.  They were done by Jeff Lynne, and he attacked the ELO name to them because that name was more recognizeable then his own.  Lynne wrote them all himself, and had no input from the group until after they were done.  The members were under the assumption it was a solo project for him, untill he called them into the studio to perform the songs.

In fact, to me the only song that really sounds like ELO on that soundtrack is "All Over The World".

Then you have the song that The Tubes did, which is not even on the soundtrack.
