I loved the show.
I loved when Bob Conrad totally lost it in Telly Savala's face (werent they opposing team captains?)

The one I remember was Bob Conrad having the NBC emblem on his shoulder saying to Lou Ferrigno, "Go ahead. I dare ya" (like he did with those batteries commercal) and Lou just knocked it off of his shoulder and Bob said, "Ok, I can handle that." and ran away. ;D ;D

they really had Howard Cosell on there and that guy really took it from Conrad...

I remember SCTV did a great parody of this called "Battle of the PBS Stars." I don't remember too about of it, but the one thing that stands out in my mind was a boxing match between Mister Rogers and Juila Child. (Mister Rogers won the fight when he KO'd Julia Child by whacking her over the head with a King Friday puppet.) ;D
