Subject: ABBA Albums
Written By: OliverDK on 12/25/05 at 8:23 pm
I've finally decided to perfect my ABBA collection, so I need to do a little research, and I'm no good at looking up stuff on the Web, what I want to do is to get all the albums first, then find the singles.
I already have these albums:
"Super Trouper"
"The Album"
"Waterloo"
"The Visitors"
"Voulez-Vous"
"Arrival"
and the "ABBA Gold" album, but that dosen't really count since it's from the 90s, anyway; what I need to find out is if I miss any albums, and which singles they released.

You have just made me realise that I cannot be ashamed and should go ahead and alphabetize my albums.
A long time ago a friend said I should find a new filing system; otherwise everyone would abandon browsing through my LPs, thinking that all I have are all ABBA...now I will proudly present them first.

KKay my friend, you should display your ABBA records with pride, some of my earliest memories are of dancing to ABBA at the local youth club on Friday and Saturday nights, they represent not only the disco era at its best, but also an entire generation, who grew up listening to their music, NEVER be ashamed of listening to ABBA.

No, no shame...I've always proclaimed them to be in my top ten, but that LP arrangement thing was stuck in my head.
My earliest memories are singing Abba songs in my room and trying to collect all the albums; begging for more chores so my allowance would increase and I could buy more.
My family thought it was a good, Scandinavian thing to get into. :)

Thanks again, you wouldn't happen to know if "Love Stories" and "The Definitive Collection" are out on vinyl, since I don't have a CD-player and never will.
I doubt if 'The Definitive Collection' is on Vinyl, because it is a 3-CD Set (2 CD's + DVD)

The site where I usually get my DVDs have 3 or 4 live DVDs with ABBA, and the of cause there is ABBA - THE MOVIE, another option is to download what you want, I use LiveWire myself and I have gotten a lot of music videos with ABBA on that account, as well as a 53min live recording, all of it in MPEG or AVI.

Sure!
That would be the gem of my LP collection!
Not only would it be proudly presented on the shelves, I' might have to
frame something like that and hang it on the wall!!!
