Subject: Looking for 1/2" black chalky licorice squares?
Written By: gulliver on 12/11/05 at 1:00 pm
My father used to eat them like crazy in the '70s. They're much like those colored chalky chewable breath mints you used to see on your way out of a restaurant, but they have a strong licorice flavor, much like Sen Sen.
If anyone knows the name or can direct me to a place to purchase them, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Maybe these? But the name doesn't sound familiar and I don't remember them being imported.

I was thinking more of the after-dinner mints, which are probably different from the ones you are
asking about. I can't seem to find any licorice ones.
