Subject: what was the cartoon about tooth town fighters toothpaste..etc???

Does anyone remember a cartoon that was in the 70's or 80's about a town of teeth...they would fight and would use things like toothpaste to attack with??? Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone......a response would be greatly appreciated!!

It was for Crest, and they defended the city of Toothopolis against the "Cavity Creeps." (God, why do I remember this sh*t?!?)

it taught them that crest toothpaste keeps away the creepy cavities!!!!

hahaha...so true.....listen to this...I sent an email to Crest asking them if they perhaps any memorbilia concerning the old Crest Team, Cavity Creeps, etc...like maybe a poster or coloring book or anything that they could send me and here is what they wrote back to me:

ago, and we don't have memorabilia available to send. Although I don't

Hahahha...so maybe...just maybe we will get to see them on TV again....which would be totally awesome...IF they dont go and change their appearances to match today's hairstyles, clothing, etc....I want to see them again EXACTLY how they looked back in the 70/80's....ya know what I mean???

There was a cartoon shown here in Australia in the early 80s (?) called the "Toothbrush Family" about a bunch of dental hygiene implements who came to life after dark and had adventures. This was their theme song:
Brush your teeth
brush tour teeth
circle small
gums and all
A small, soft toothbrush
the roundabout way
will keep your gums healthy
and stop tooth decay
so clean very carefully
three times a day
brush your teeth
brush tour teeth
(... fade)
How do I still remember that? :D

I vaguely seem to remember a tooth care video game that was given free from one of the major fast food chains in the 80's.

That was shown on "Captain Kangaroo" in the late 70's-early 80's! That song was sung to the tune of "3 Blind Mice", although a lot of us kids of that time didn't know that tune as anything else but the "3 Stooges" theme :D
