I say they're both equally groovy.

I loved both shows actually but The Partridge Family was definitely my fav of the two. I've actually had the opportunity to meet and see David Cassidy in concert quite a few times.

You actually got to meet him?  What was he like?

I wish I would've had the opportunity to see him and Shaun together in that play, Blood Brothers, about ten years ago.

David Cassidy....I mean...The Partridge Family  :P

He's not too approachable these days. Probably a throw back from his younger days when girls would really go over the top to meet him. It's really hard to get an autograph before or after a concert and if you are fortunate to go to a Meet and Greet you get swooshed thru and really don't get much of a chance to talk to him.

When he appears at Westbury Music Fair in Long Island the Security guards have to stand at the end of each row with arms interlocked so the screaming fans don't touch him. During intermission once an announcement was made to "not touch the performer". I think someone had tried to pull his hair out! GEEZ!!! David usually comes to Westbury Music Fair every year. It's a small venue and a great place to hear him sing. He still rocks the house!

You remember a few years back when David appeared on Good Morning America and fan club members got to ride on the Partridge Family bus and showed the bus during commercial breaks? Well I was on the bus! The record company treated us really well by giving us freebees and we even got to ride the bus from Manhattan to Costco on Long Island where David did a meet and greet.

My girlfriend won tickets about 15 years ago from WPLJ for a meet and greet in Greenwich Village - there was only about 50 of us..that was really cool! We really got to meet him up front and personal.

People always tease me when they hear I'm I going to see him in concert but I don't care cuz he still puts on a great show!

Can one equate "Groovy" with an LSD or Marijuana trip?

All the Partridge Family could do was sing... and drive a funky bus. The Bradys actually went on far out adventures!
