Subject: 1970's At The Movies

Written By: Banks on 12/19/04 at 4:03 am

Let us know why the movie you picked had such an effect on you.

I have three...

Star Wars....Because every 6 year old boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker

King Kong...Because I had a crush on Jessica Lang

and Salems Lot...It changed the way I slept for years, and also made me put a cross at each of my bedroom wondows and next to my bed. My Nana thought I was a good litle religious boy, but really I was afraid of vampires.  ;D

Jaws - I can't think of the ocean completely in a positive way

Carrie - I'll make sure I'll treat everyone fairly, never chaperone any school events, and to not get too close to any grave sites.

The Exorcist - Satan's real, yaw!

Hmmm, I don't know about influence, I'll just mention some favorites.  I tend to prefer comedy  ::)

How about Silver Streak, Smokey and the Bandit, Animal House.

I watched 'Jaws' but it kinda freaked me out back then  :-[

None. I watched them, enjoyed them, and went on. I'm not that easily influenced.
