which one... who's good enough to get this?  I didn't remember this until a friend of mine pointed it out.  It's the first line of the song, no fair looking it up.

'Papa Was A Rolling Stone'...of course - superb song...!

And on the same day, albeit a few years previous -  WW2 officially started...

I didn't know this was the official start of WW2... I was never good with dates though...

Not at all, Chucky...that intro and opening verse are forever locked in my nut...

I didn't know this was the official start of WW2... I was never good with dates though...


Well, I suppose from an American viewpoint, it wasn't...but it was the day us lot declared hostilities on Adolf and Co.
