Subject: Cheap 70s Flicks
Written By: Fred on 08/31/04 at 2:52 pm
Sometimes what I like to do, is watch a great (cheap-a**) movie from the 70s on late night cable tv. Now one I have watched recently, had the setting in the desert (Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico) somewhere like that. There are no recognizable actors in the film. Other than, the main character is driving a red car (what looks like a Chevy) and is being chased by an old, dirty tanker truck, which he eventually defeats by sending off a cliff. I have only seen this movie from about 3/4 through it, and don't know the name. Amazingly, when I was much younger I saw this movie from around the same point.
Does anybody remember this film or know the name of it?

Agree ! It's definitely Duel.
Cheap, simple, yet very clever I thought. :)

I remember that one, the Duel, I think it has been parodied on the Simpsons.
Good one

Thanks guys I thought it was very clever too, I like it in movies when you can never see the bad guy's face. I also love the camera angles on the truck. ;)
