I certainly understand, Howard. Fozz was always the most endearing, especially for a guy who'd rather save Kermit's flippers than his own fur. He ties with Gonzo as my favorite. Gonzo was kind of the original extreme Muppet, always surfing the edge without worrying if he'd be getting laughter or ooohs & ahhhs.

There are two ways you can do it. 1. Tell people it is a gift for someone else or 2. Be PROUD and say, "Yeah, it's for me. I like the Muppets. Do you have a problem with that?"

I have many Disney (and a few Muppet) movies and no kids. People used to come over and see that and used to laugh but then they would noticed that I had a certian movie and say, "Can we watch this?" Then I would laugh. At least I could admit that I like them. Now, I have step-kids and step-grandkids so they don't really know that those movies are really for me.  ;D

The Muppet Show and Sesame Street were 2 of the best shows. I liked Rolf the dog because I also play the piano. Waldorf and Statler (the balcony hecklers) were hilarious though.

The thing I always thought that was cool about Miss Piggy's hair was that it seemed like real hair.  In the Muppet movie, for example...it was all nice and curled when she went out to dinner with Kermit, but after she had to fight the bad guys, her hair drooped and became more straightened as the night went on.

Soo glad to hear Fozzie is on the list!

Had the opportunity/dream to be part of the animated series  as Baby Foz-(and others).

Yep, that's me, just popped in to see the board...I check around every once and awhile to the sites..Apparently on the Muppet web site,I heard a few of the voices converse..I'm so busy with not enough time to schedule anything for the moment...

I also have to watch for the confusion..My first name is Greg (as there is another voice out there Gregg with a similar name!)

What year were the muppets created? I think the first muppet's movie was made around 1979, but I can only remember the Muppet's Christmas Carol.

If you go waaaaaayyy back, I thought Jim Henson created them in the 50's or 60's in some short films then appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in the 60's with different routines and a troup of character-puppeteers.

The 'Babies' debute was in 'Muppets Take Manhattan' then being animated and shown in 1984.
Now Disney owns that particular group so who knows what's next???

I liked these two old buggers as well. When I was a kid I didn't like them much but now that I am older I can really appreciate them. The other muppets did do some pretty corny things really.
