I choose "Wild World" followed by "Lonely Days"

I chose "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again" (The Fortunes), followed by "Knock Three Times" (Dawn). :)
As much as I love John Denver, "Take Me Home, Country Roads" was just not a favorite. :-\\

In that case Karen, you'd positively spit at the 'hip 'n' trendy' dance re-hash that someone done of it not long ago...the band name escapes me, which is just as well...!!
For me, two brilliant soul records...'Theme From Shaft' followed by 'Just My Imagination'

Knock Three Times.
It was technically a 1970 song, tho'; that one along with "And the Grass Won't Pay No Mind," "Watercolor Days (B-side of Watching Scotty Grow) and "Silver Moon" were all being played on the radio around Thanksgiving while I was spending time with my aunt. I bought all four records at least a month before Christmas 1970.
