I've long since forgotten which album it was on, and I may not be remembering the title correctly, but my fave has always been "Do You Love Me" (Firrst couple of lines were: "You really like my limousine, you like the way the wheels roll, you like my 7 inch leather heels and going to all of the shows, but....")

BETH
But I wish it was done by Tom Waits!
8)
Actually, I've heard it was about one of the guys' ex-wives, but her name was actually "Lydia." "Lydia, I hear you calling..." Nah, doesn't work so good.

No, it was just a lyric that Peter Criss was experimenting with on the way to a show. He was thinking of calling it "Beck" but Gene thought it would be better to call it "Beth" so people didn't think he was singing about Jeff Beck. :) It's not actually about anyone.

About a week ago I listened to this song for the first time in like 25 years, and for some reason I liked it better back in the '70s. I don't know, it just sounds so 'dated' to me. :-\\

Their no make up period to me was their best. In 1983, they created The Ankh Warrior for new member Vinnie Vincent (the one on the far left) who wrote their hit Lick it Up which is to me their greatest hit!

I like Detroit Rock City. All the odd notes and changes.
I have worked with a Beth for all of the 22 years I’ve been here. She made us turn off the classic rock radio station because every time the song would come on, people would tease her.
