Released here and in the US in 1971, Karen (Australia may have had it earlier...) - it's a lovely mellow rendition of a Bob Dylan song which he whined his way through (as usual!) - George Harrison did a version too, but Livvy's is the best...

I always thought she had some good 70's country songs, so I chose Other for "Let Me Be There." Also like "Have You Never Been Mellow."

They're all pretty good, but I had to vote for Other: The River's Too Wide.
I don't think it got a lot of radio airplay, but I'll never forget walking past a music store while this song was playing, hearing it for the first time, stopping in my tracks, entering the store and buying an ONJ cassette tape with this song on it.  8)

i was a big onj fan - probably throughout her whole career. i don't know that she had any songs that i didn't like. i voted for sam off the list. didn't much aprreciate her "physical" years when she tried going "bad" but i did struggle through it with her!!

I had 3 posters on my bedroom walls growing up in the 70's: Jaclyn Smith, Jim Palmer and Olivia. I can listen to anything she sings, and watch Grease as many times as you can show it (leather Sandy totally wins out over yellow dress Sandy), but Sam gets the nod as my favorite Olivia song.
