I truly hated Billy Joel in his "Piano Man" period ( >:( ) and didn't like him until "The Stranger" (1977) and "52nd Street" (1978).
For the late '70s, he's one of those artists that pretty much owned the airwaves.

So, for his songs I like I'll go with "Other", because...

I have noted that usually when this song is on the radio nowadays, they leave out the second part (Don't go tryin' some new fashions.  Don't change the color of your hair...etc)

OTOH, the pollster left out 3 full albums of singles we should be able to choose from. What about "She's Got A Way", "Everybody Loves You Now", "You're My Home", "Billy The Kid", "Captain Jack", "Streetlife Serenader", "Los Angelenos", "The Entertainer", "Say Goodbye To Hollywood", "New York State Of Mind", "Angry Young Man", "Seen The Lights Go Out On Broadway", "Only The Good Die Young", and "The Stranger" ? You can't just limit our choices to less than half! I chose "Movin'Out", but if I had all these to pick from, I'd go with "New York State Of Mind". Thanks!

Perhaps these polls should ask about favorite Billy Joel Albums.

Songs in the Attic for me.

They all rock...but My Life is my favorite. It brings back memories of driving through Newcastle (New South Wales) in the middle of summer heading to the beach with my Mum driving and the two of us singing the song at the top of our voices.

This song also gave me my favorite saying to use in an arguement: You can speak your mind, but not on my time.

I enjoyed 'Always a woman to me' but I love the majority of the songs listed there.

It's SO hard to choose, as Billy Joel is one of my Top 20 favorite artists. I chose "Just the Way You Are" because it was one of the first Joel songs I was introduced to as it was my parent's wedding song Tthey were married in 1978)

I think, when Chucky first enabled polls, he only limited it to a certain number of items.

I've only made 7 polls thus far (I think); maybe I should go back and check some of mine to make sure the ballots didn't get messed up.
