Great Post!! Starting Over - it was my first time hearing a John Lennon solo - ok I was 9. When I heard it - in the beginning it reminded me of David Bowie.

ANYbody being shot is just wrong. The ONLY problem I had with John is that he basically forgot about his first son Julian...other than that, I respected what he treid to do in the name of peace.

From the '70s Id pick Stand By Me and Happy Xmas (War Is Over), even though Yoko's voice on it really grates on me.
