Subject: 70s TV Movie--"Gargoyles"
There was a very neat little TV horror film made in 1972 called "Gargoyles".
It starred Cornel Wilde, Jennifer Salt, and Bernie
Casey.
I have it on video cassette.
I took a little while for the film to get going, but once it did, it was marvelous.
The famous Carlsbad Caverns out west were used for location filming.
Make-up artists Ellis Burman and Ross Wheat won
emmy awards for their brilliant and very imaginative gargoyle costumes.
I'm sure that many of you out there can remember seeing this TV movie. It's a 70s classic!
