Subject: AMovie I Saw Last Week On Video
Anyone remember the 70 film "Daddy's Gone A-Huntin'"? I just saw it on a video I check out of the library, and the similarities to "Fatal Attraction" are staggering. The only differences were the gender of the psychos and the animal the psycho killed. But if you rent "Daddy's Gone a Huntin'" and "Fatal Attraction" together, you've think that you are seeing the same film. Both potential victims are married, both kidnap the suckers' kids. Abortion plays a role in each movie (Okay, Glenn Close says she miscarried in "Fatal", but how can we believe her?) I don't think any of the actors in the earlier film went on to bigger things. Although Scott Hyland was on the show "Night Heat" for a few years.
