Subject: Bugles, Daisys, and What?
I saw that someone else had posted a food question so here's mine.In the late '60s there were Bugles(which have thankfully returned), Daisys, and one other snack food that was some kind of cheese ball. I know it was ball shaped because I could put it on top of my Bugle and make a baby ice cream cone. And yes,I know how anal that is -my husband has been telling me for over 30 years. Thank you.

Don't know the answer but loved your story about the baby ice cream cone. I remember cheese doodles but they weren't cheese balls.
I know what bugles are, but what are daisys?

(Actually, it was more of a tube shape.) Unfortunately, the name of the cheeseballs escapes me…

I don't remember the Whistles!I thought I had a memory of all junkfood. I do know these snacks were ball-shaped because not only did they make the baby ice cream cones but I could fit them inside my Daisy as well. By the way, I also actually invented the Ritz Bits Sandwich. I used to fill Ritz Bits with cream cheese or peanut butter for my kids. Never a reward for those of us with a vision...
