Subject: Christmas Story
I know that there is another movie with the family from Christmas Story. It takes place in the Summertime. The menfolk go fishing and the Mom goes to the movies and continues to recieve gravy boat after gravyboat, while there. They also live next door to a family of Hillybillies. Does anyone know the name of this film? It's driving me crazy.

Don't know if you'd found the name of the movie yet, but i looked this up on imdb.com: "The Great American Fourth of July and other disasters", made in 1982... hope that helps!

A Christmas Story came out 1983, hence a sequel would come out after that...
It Runs in the Family "My Summer Story" it's different actors, same voice over.. based on Jean Sheppard's novels.. it's not nearly as good as the original Christmas Story though
