Subject: Why aren't sites open for everyone?

Written By: alex on 7/10/2000 at 2:20 p.m.

I happened to find this and the other related sites by looking for a One Day At A Time site and I wa a little dissapointed to see that only people with E-Mail can participate and leave information about the shows that are mentioned. If you want more people to participate and if you want these sites to grow then you really cannot be so restricted and or exclusive! Not everyone has an e-mail address or,for that matter, wants one. Some people like their privacy. I know a good deal about shows from the 70's and 80's and would like to join in but I can't because of the e-mail requirement. Please, take this under consideration.Thank you.

there's no check for valid email address, if you put in bogus@somewhere.com or any made up email address, you can still leave info.. the email field is so that I can ask the person leaving the comments a question if I can't understand what they've left behind.. and I generally don't even use it..
